    Description

    US Rifle Model 1892 Krag Bayonet with Sheath.  Comes with the belt loop attachment too.  Bayonet measures 16-1/4" overall with a blade length of 11-3/4.  Very good showing light age patina, wear, and much original finish. Ricasso area of blade marked, "US" with opposite side having date of "18..", can't read the last two digits. Very good grips with some dings on the top spine area of grips.  Bayonet tight with no looseness. Nice looking scabbard with much bluing and some scattered rust/pitting on the back.    These were used on the Krag .30-40 Rifles in the Spanish American War and the early 1900's prior to WW1.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.  A well made item and in nice condition.
