Rare Antique Vintage Wooden  Downhill Skis Northland Northbilt  Refinished Skis.  Professional refinisher has been in the refinishing business for 40 + years and prior to that he ran a ski touring center known as "Barrelstave Cross Country Ski Touring Center".  He's been involved with skis for most of his life.  These skis have all original parts including leather straps, these skis have been professionally refinished after being sanded down to their fine grain hickory and treated with Helmsman high durability spar urethane with sanding between each of four coats for a high gloss finish.  Bindings were removed  and cleaned.  Leather straps were left as is as they are frail and add to the charm of these high quality skis.  If you actually want to use these skis for skiing and not as focal point of your best wall these bindings are NOT up to todays standards and the leather straps will need to be changed with new ones.  These skis are very long (81" !!) skis that will become your fabulous focal point for years to come.
