Here a beautiful and lovely figure of a little girl is shown with a colorful butterfly.
The girl is naked and kneeling before a butterfly. In her left hand she holds a gray potty and in her right hand a fine brush with which she paints the butterfly.
This wonderful work of art was produced in 1914/20 in the Aeltesten Volkstedter porcelain manufactory in collaboration with the Schwarzburger Werkstätte für Porzellankunst.
The design of the figure comes from the artist Georg Wolf, who also signed the porcelain. In addition, it has press marks, a blue underglaze mark and a painter's signature.
