Firearm Training, Hunter Safety - this auction is for a set of 5 Shotgun snap caps.
This auction is for one set of 5 shotgun snap caps, which include 1 each of the following:
12 Gauge, 16 Gauge, 20 Gauge, 28 Gauge, and a 410 Gauge.
These are safety snap caps, and contain no powder, or primers.  These are for instructional or training purposes only.  They cannot fire and they cannot be made to fire.
These are intended to be used as an educational training aid for those who teach Firearms or Hunter safety classes.  As a firearms safety instructor myself, I was disappointed with the training products available to educate students, I wanted something that was completely safe, but would look and feel right, so I made my own.  Unlike plastic or one-piece aluminum snap caps, these won't flake off and will fit your chamber perfect.  I made sure to use hulls that are readable and are easy to identify for your students. These snap caps will chamber and can be used to release the hammer if desired.  The poly primer fill will cushion the firing pin safely, hundreds of times.
These are commercial hulls that have been mechanically cleaned, sized, and had the primer pocket plugged, the case body has also been filled with fiber and a lead slug lead to simulate the correct weigh, and then crimped.  You can tell they are inert, by looking at the primer area for identification, as they are plugged with an orange poly material to help identify as a snap cap.
The hull brands used, may vary on type, manufacture from the pictures listed.
